This notice describes the information handled by the current MiniSplit Canada website. Before public launch, the operator must insert its legal identity, real privacy contact and retention schedule and confirm the practices described here.
Quote forms collect your name, email, optional phone, postal code, project details and consent. Requests receive a reference and a consent timestamp. A short-lived keyed IP hash is used for submission rate limiting. Contact and correction forms store your name, email, message, optional page URL and reference. Account records include login and security information. Server logs may contain technical request information.
We use these details to store and manage your request, connect you with the selected company, handle corrections, operate accounts and protect the service. A quote request is not consent to unrelated promotional email.
When you submit the quote form with consent, the selected company and authorized site administrators can access the request. If email delivery is configured, the request may be sent to the administrator’s designated inbox and the selected company’s notification inbox. Hosting and mail providers process information to operate these services. Do not assume that an email was delivered merely because the form was saved.
Session and security cookies support login and form protection. Your browser may store selected comparison companies. External map services and linked program or company websites operate under their own policies. Review those policies before sharing information with them. No analytics or advertising tracking consent is implied by this notice.
Archiving a request or profile does not permanently erase it. The operator must establish a retention and deletion schedule before launch, including backups and email copies. Use the contact form to ask about access, correction or deletion and quote your reference. Identity and authority may need to be checked before account information is disclosed or changed.
